How Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 Handle Session Failure ...

Tonight electricity at my apartment suddenly off for around 2 seconds. As the result, my iMac die off immediately, and the Firefox browser that ran inside it die off immediately too.

2 seconds later, when everything back to normal again, I turned on my iMac again, ran the Firefox browser, and saw the following page appear on my browser:

Pretty smart (and helpful) approach! Now I have a better information to decide whether I would like to restore the previous session, or just would like to start a new session after all.

Firefox 3.1's Coolest & Most Useful Feature That Makes Browsing + Organizing + Discovering The Web Faster, Simpler, Better ...

I tried out Firefox 3.1 Beta today, and these are some key features that I found truly useful, powerful, fascinating and important.

Firefox 3.1 really sets browsing + organizing + discovering the web to the new level!

SUPERB ABILITY TO TEAR-DOWN AND ORGANIZE TABS

- The ability to tear the tab off is super cool. Now I can browse and open as many tab as I want. Yet when I want to tear particular tab into its own window, I could do so. And if I want to organize these tabs together into one window again, I could do so very quickly, conveniently and intuitively as well.
- With this feature, I think I could organize my discovered web content better. And once I am happy with the layout and arrangement of it, I could save the entire tab structure into my bookmark.

This is truly useful and powerful feature that make browsing, organizing and discovering/rediscovering the web simpler, faster, better!

Truly awesome!

COOL FACILITY TO REMEMBER & REDISCOVER SITES

- The ability to remember and rediscover sites that we have visited by simply typing keywords in the location bar is awesome. In 3.1 it even become more awesome, as now we have the "+" characters to narrow down the search based on tags even more!

BLAZING SPEED IMPROVEMENT

- Although the speed improvement is not yet as blazingly fast as Chrome, there is significant improvement on the rendering speed of the browser. Now javascript intensive applications runs faster.

ANYTIME VIDEO

- The ability to view videos without having to download the plug-ins is pretty awesome! As more and more content on the web is available in video format, this feature makes it handy and easy to view those content, without having to be hasseled by the plug-in installation and setup process whatsoever.
- The web (video) content now just becoming viewable anytime anywhere

PRIVATE BROWSING CAPABILITY

- When you enter your credit card numbers and stuff on the web, you don't want trace of that transactions to be accidentally left behind, in such circumstances, private browsing capability would become important, powerful and handy.

SUPERB EXTENSIBILITY

- There are many useful and powerful firefox extensions that I found truly useful and powerful. This has been firefox's core strength since day 1, and the various genuine innovation that people provide is truly superb!
- With 3.1, the great tradition continues!

These are the key things that I really love about Firefox 3.1 so far.
