Is This How The New Upcoming Sony 'P' Series Would Look Like ??

Is this how the Sony 'P' Series would look like? It kind of remind me of my old beautiful Sony VAIO Picture Book in the past (see 2nd picture).

If such is the case, then I guess we might soon enter the era of 'p' notebooks; pocketable notebooks, or pocketable net-books to be more precise.

It would be exciting to see Sony find its mojo back.

ps: Compare the size of the notebook with the size of the envelope. It's almost equal! If Sony can make it super small (like its Picture Book in the past) and super thin as well, then it would be truly awesome! It would become the most portable NetPC ever, perhaps, just like VAIO Picture book was, 6-8 years ago, in the past.

Sony VAIO Notebooks: Back In Style ??

A week ago I was awestruck by a handsomely designed Sony notebook that brings back the essential essence of Sony awesome design aesthetic and superb excellence in the past.

Such excitement accentuated even more recently, by recent rumors that I heard on the internet, which says soon (in early 2009) Sony will groundbreakingly announce a line of tastefully designed VAIO lines that would change (once again) the way we look and experience notebooks, and computers.

I am seriously moved by such fact. The memories of Sony great products in the past, the excitement of Sony design (and experience) in the past, ... it was all truly awesome!

I sincerely truly look forward for Sony (VAIO) and other (great) Sony product in the past, to -- very soon -- find its Mojo back. Through that, the once greatest world icon would -- once again -- have the chance to turn the world to become once again become an exciting, inspiring place to be.

No more boring program attached.

The Mac "Museum" ...

The_Mac_Museum_....zip (1999 KB)

It was told by Alex Patsay that somewhere in Moscow, they had one of the biggest collections of old Mac (and NeXT) hardware and software in the world.
Imagine if people around the world could collect their Apple, Mac, NeXT and iMacs that they no longer use in once place, and arrange it by time, ... then we will perhaps be able to see the fascinating 'history', 'story' and 'evolution' of hardware, software, and computer design -- of one the most iconic icon, in the great innovation history of computing -- across time! :-)

Tablet Is Cool!

We live increasingly connected, no doubt about it. And as we live increasingly connected, the internet become more central to our lives. It increasingly become the foundation of our interaction, social and work being.
In such circumstances, tablet form-factor (or slidephone form factor) might increasingly fit well into the new way we act, get connected, and interact.

I wish one day I can write, draw and annotate crisply also on it. With these, we got a "Perfect Tablet", where we can do so much things on it, and through it, in the most intuitive, effective, productive way, ever invented.

The 'Perfect' Tablet PC ??

Is the perfect tablet coming soon?

It's portable, it's comfortable for browsing, it's internet connectivity ready, it has a batter that last long.
Add future ability to accept hand-gesture and pen writing on top of it, at $411 price tag, could this Korean-manufactured LLUON Mobbit PS400 be our ideal 'tablet PC' ?

 We shall see.

The Next Palm 'Tablet' ??

I seriously wonder why Palm is not making the 'modern' version of this device.
This is almost a perfect 'tablet' device we ever had. It's sleek, it's thin, it's pocketable, it's portable.
Even iPhone-- in many ways -- resembles what this device (once) had! -- in its design, simplicity, sleekness, hardware elegance, and software standout!

Perhaps palm just need to make it work 'like a piece of paper' even more, incorporate it's 'handspring-root' too make it phone-enable, and forget those cluncky complicated Windows Mobile interface all out! ...

Then we got our 'perfect palm' handheld (or 'tablet' ??) back.
