The Great, Famous, Legendary 'Got Milk?' Campaign Ad!

Among many campaigns that has been running for several years (and has been spread out across generations), the great 'Got Milk?' campaign is one that I really adore.
 
The choice of font used, the iconic 'mustache', the photo ambiance; the entire layout's position and texture, the elegant wordings, the chic/aesthetic design of the entire 'system' makes the entire campaign message's interesting, fascinating, eye catching, great, clear and awesome to watch.
 
This campaign ad is probably one of the best series of campaign ad ever created, after the excellent VW Beetle campaign ad (by Bernbach) and Apple/Mac Think Different campaign ad, in the past.

Products with exciting groundbreaking innovation and deep great cause seem to always bring so much impact and excitement to people, society and masses as a whole. iPhone -- the product, the brand, the cause, the prentation, the leader, the introduction, the attitude, the experience and the launch itself -- seems to have it all, which makes the 'magic' happen even greater.

Would something similar once again happen to the Google phone's (next) launch? -- on a global, massive scale ??

Soon we will find "touch" everywhere: in our handphones, in our computers, in our portable players.

While this would be truly awesome, most likely there'd be one "horrible" consequence:

May be we will need to "redesign" how we would eat KFC while working with those gadgets!

Those oily licking finger would become as harmful to these new computers and gadgets interface, the same way 'coffee' was considered 'harmful' to computer keyboard in the past!

Good Advertising Is About Statement, Content, Idea & Message. Not Just Rhetoric!

Good advertising can speak by itself. It doesn't need support of fancy picture nor colors. It just speak out loud in simplest form, because it contain ideas that worth something to be noticed about.

Lauzy and dry ad try too hard to be heard. It applies too many gestures, too busy pictures, too crowded colors. It disturb people's attention, rather than attract them for closer observation.

People say the greatest advertising form of all is education. It educates people. It tells people something that is worth noticing, worth memorizing, worth to be understood. It contains 'something' that is worth to be spread about.

Is This How Brand New Alert Service Will Look Like In the Future??

Serious yet 'friendly', 'comical' and 'fun'. Is this how "alert services" in the future would look like? :-D
metaboinfo.com -- a Japanese website -- has an interesting way to keep people get back in shape through a well controlled diet program. They provide a site that enable people to enter personal information and data, then to choose a 'digital wife' that would everyday monitor and remind the progress of their diet program.

Based on this, the 'virtual wife' will then everyday send email message that remind the person with diet program that they need to do that day, and -- depend on the personality of the 'virtual wife' that you choose, as well as the result of your diet program so far -- this 'virtual wife avatar' can send you a friendly message, an angry message, a polite message, or a rude message. All depends on the 'type' of 'wife' personality that you chose, as well as on how good (or bad) the progress of your scheduled diet program.
